Just finished my taxes with Taxbrain. They warned me of the recent tax law changes that could delay my return and had free support to help me when I got stuck. Great Job. Even saved $10 too.

We were also part of the tax brain fiasco.  I filed 01/16 and it's 02/19 and still no money.  What has tax brain said to me personally.  Nothing.  If I hadn't contactd the IRS in regards to not receiving my deposit on the correct day I would have never known.  It' s how they DIDN't handle the situation that's wrong.  The irs is still trying to work through this mess.  I was also informed by the irs that tax brain did not try to work out a solution as they have been saying.  Just look at their BBB rating.  It's an F.

Do not use Taxbrain.  Google:  "Tax Time Twist up".  On YouTube search for "Tax Refunds delayed for some"

They  left thousands of filers out in the cold and on January 29, 2010 they did not have their money.  Taxbrain entered the wrong routing number and sent their refunds  to the wrong bank and now they have to wait until the end of February to get paper checks from the IRS.  They have poor customer service also.  Please do not use them!  Thanks!!!

Do not use their service. Thousands of refunds were sent to the incorrect bank and now we are all waiting the 4-6 week turnaround for the IRS to mail paper checks. So much for "Rapid Refunds"

Do not use this service. Thousands of 2009 returns were diverted to the wrong bank because taxbrain gave out the wrong routing numbers to the irs. They didn't update thier software after knowing that sbbt would not be doing business with repbulic bank. Now thousands of peoples ssn, address, banking information, etc. Has been sent to a company that taxbrain has no affiliation with. Taxbrain knew about this information on january 16 and 17th and tried to resend the tax returns again but of course they were rejected, but they never said a word to thier users. We had to wait until we were expecting our refunds and stay on the phone for hours with the irs/taxbrain and sbbt to find out the truth. Do not use this service.
